Adolf Schröder

Adolf Schröder (born August 26, 1938 in Hamburg ; † May 8, 2008 in Hamburg ) was a German author and taxi driver .

Life

Schröder studied German and history in Hamburg. He lived and worked there too. In 1961 he produced his first radio play . In addition to radio plays, Schröder also wrote novels and screenplays, including for the television crime series Der Alte . In the 1990s he wrote crime novels for NDR . A long-standing friendship and collaboration linked him with the author and radio play director Heinz von Cramer , who also directed Schröder's last radio play, Mutter Hamburg .
