Ken Kaska

Ken Kaska (born October 18, 1914 in Itzehoe ; † May 23, 1978 in Bremen ) was a German aphorist and radio play author .

Life

Ken Kaska is a pseudonym. The real name is Ernst Adolf Fuhlendorf. He completed "10 years of school without a major examination, 12 years of Hitlerism: commission, prison, death sentence, pardoned to 15 years in prison, release from Buchenwald". From 1947 to 1953 he lived in Schwabing, wrote poems and chansons and did cabaret. In 1953 he moved to Bremen and worked in the radio, especially at Radio Bremen . He has written features, essays, entertainment series and 28 radio plays. His novel Anarchists remained unpublished.

Gert von Paczensky wrote about him: "Ken Kaska wrote down his ideas and sayings on small pieces of paper, not infrequently encouraged by flights of thought, when their runway had an extended bistro break."
