Gregory Alan Williams

Gregory Alan Williams (born June 12, 1956 in Des Moines , Iowa ) is an American actor and author .

Life

Gregory Alan Williams graduated from Coe College in 1973 and served his military service in the United States Marine Corps through 1976. He then focused on his acting career. After he made his screen debut in Nico , The Indians of Cleveland and The Killer Brigade in 1989 , he was cast in the hit series Baywatch - The Lifeguards of Malibu for the role of Garner Ellerbee , which he had in 95 episodes up to 1998 and in parallel starred in the television series Baywatch Nights .

During the 1992 Los Angeles riots , Williams saved the life of a Japanese-American who was attacked by the insurgents. He processed this experience in his first book A Gathering of Heroes: Reflections on Rage and Responsibility: A Memoir of the Los Angeles Riots , which appeared in 1994.
