Mina Badie (actually: Mina A. Badiyi ; born November 28, 1970 in Los Angeles ) is an American actress .

Life

Badie is the daughter of Reza Badiyi and Barbara Turner . She studied acting at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford and made her film debut in 1977 as Celia Zimmerman in Lee Philips ' romantic drama The War Between the Tates . In 1994 she played Joanie Gerard in Alan Rudolph's biopic Mrs. Parker and her vicious circle . In the 2000s she appeared as Monica Rose in Jennifer Jason Leigh's and Alan Cummings Relationships and Other Disasters (2001), as Donna in Dylan Kidd's Sex for Beginners (2002), as Dana in Eric Schaeffer's Mind the Gap (2004), as Molly in Jay Anania's Her Name Is Carla (2005), as Lexi Davis in Timothy Scott Bogart's Touched (2005) and as Faith Willoughby in Reza Badiyi's The Way Back Home (2006). In 2010 she played Peggy in Noah Baumbach's Greenberg . She also had a number of guest appearances in various television series, such as Under the California Sun (1993) and Scandal (2012).

She is the younger half-sister of Jennifer Jason Leigh and Carrie Ann Morrow, and the older half-sister of Alexis and Tashi Badiyi.
