Starsky controls the car and Hutch sticks out of the car window when the fire button is pressed and has to hit the enemy with the revolver. On the other hand, vehicle bonuses can be earned by shooting or jumping stunts. Additional vehicles are unlocked with points. For the game itself, Huggy Bear actor Antonio Fargas could be won for a speaking role. Special Huggy Bear cards must be collected to unlock video specials. The cutscenes are in the style of the Superman comics. The game scenes are each garnished with comments from the respective series heroes about food and driving style.
