Melanie Isakowitz (born December 21, 1980 in Potsdam ; born Melanie Wilke ) is a German actress , voice-over and dubbing actress .

Career

Melanie Isakowitz completed her acting training from 2007 to 2010 at the European Theater Institute Berlin . At the Institute for Acting, Film and TV Professions , she continued her education in the “Camera Actors Studio” department until 2012. She was seen for the first time as a television actress in the role of Grinka Janssen in the ZDF series Deployment Daily - Police Officers Determine (2004). Numerous short film engagements followed by 2008, in which she embodied the leading female roles. She played Jessica in the film Thallium (2010), the protagonist in Luma (2012) and the episode role Nina Sager in Heiter bis tödlich: Akt Ex (2013). In October 2013, she stood in front of the camera for the ARD series In aller Friendship (2014) and portrayed the character of Rebecca Simoni. Since 2007 she has also been active as a theater actress throughout Germany.

In addition to her work as an actress, Isakowitz is also active as a voice actress. In Supernatural (2011) she spoke different roles, in the dramedy series Parenthood (2012) Gina, in Dr. Dani Santino - Game of Life (2012) Zoe and in Parks and Recreation (2012) Susan. Bianca Lawson voiced her in the series Pretty Little Liars (2012-2013) as Maya St. Germain. In the anime series Psycho-Pass (2014) Isakowitz dubbed Mika Shimotsuki and from the third season Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate in Teen Wolf (2014). In the anime series Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso - Seconds in Minor (2014-2015) she speaks Nao Kashiwagi. She speaks Haru in the anime series Tokyo Ghoul (2015). In 2016 she was the German voice of Lady Flora Hastings, who was portrayed in the great British history series Victoria by Alice Orr-Ewing.

Melanie Isakowitz studied pedagogy, English and German at the University of Potsdam and graduated with a state examination.
