Hwang Ok-sil ( kor. 황옥 실 ; born March 25, 1972 in Pyongyang ) is a North Korean short tracker .
Hwang won the bronze medal over 500 m at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville . This was the second medal that North Korea could ever win at the Winter Olympics after Han Pil-hwa won silver in speed skating in Innsbruck in 1964 . In 1998 she took part again in the Olympic Games, but was only 22nd over 500 m and 7th with the season.
