Shelley Catherine Hennig (born January 2, 1987 in Destrehan , Louisiana ) is an American beauty queen and actress . After the election in 2004, Miss Louisiana Teen USA and Miss Teen USA had won, she launched nearly three years later a career as an actress, while from 2007 to 2011 in more than 400 episodes of the long-term soap opera Days of Our Lives to see was.

In the competition that followed, she was awarded the coveted title in front of her 50 colleagues. She was the first winner of this beauty pageant from the state of Louisiana and at the same time the first winner of a national beauty pageant from Louisiana after Ali Landry , who was elected Miss USA in 1996 . Winning the competition also included a one-year contract with Trump Model Management , a modeling agency founded in 1999 by US billionaire Donald Trump , and a $ 45,000 scholarship from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts , the former School for Film and Television , on 19th Street in Manhattan . In January 2014, she took on a role on the MTV television series Teen Wolf . Initially, she was there supporting actress and was later accepted into the main cast. In the fall of 2014, she was seen at the side of Daren Kagasoff and Douglas Smith in the horror film Ouija - Not Playing with the Devil .
