Douglas Alexander Smith (born June 22, 1985 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian - American actor .

Life

Smith was born in Toronto, Canada to Terrea (née Oster), a US teacher, and Maurice Smith, a British film producer. His mother appeared more frequently in films his father produced in the 1980s. His eldest brother Gregory Smith is also an actor. Among other things, he also has German ancestors. Smith is a vegetarian .
