Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous is an American comedy series directed by Bo Burnham and Dan Lagana about Zach Stone, a high school graduate who wants to live a life of fame and star. The twelve episodes of the series premiered on MTV between May 2 and June 29, 2013 in the US . The German-language broadcast of all twelve episodes took place on October 19, 2013 on MTV .

Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous is about Zach Stone, who just graduated from high school and decides not to go to college , but to somehow get famous as a reality TV star. To accomplish this, he hires a film crew that accompanied him in how he tries, among other things, a celebrity chef or an artist for ringtones to be. However, since he has no skills or special talents, he has to accept a multitude of failures.

In September 2010, MTV ordered the pilot of the series, which was written by Bo Burnham , Dan Lagana and Luke Liacos. The pilot episode of the series was shot in 2011, the rest of the first and only season in 2012. The series began broadcasting on May 2, 2012 on MTV. On June 26, 2013, MTV announced the cancellation of the series.
