Jeffrey Walker

Jeffrey Walker (born July 10, 1982 in Melbourne , Victoria ) is an Australian actor and director .

Life

Walker was born the middle of three children in Melbourne. His older sister Donna is a costume designer and he also has a younger brother. He grew up in Bentleigh in the Australian state of Victoria .

Walker began his acting career at the age of seven. Mainly he was seen in youth series . His best-known leading roles are that of Brett Bates in Ocean Girl and that of Wayne Wilson in Wayne Wilson - right in the middle and right next to it . In 1997 he received a Young Actor's Award for this role from the Australian Film Institute .

Walker wanted to learn a job behind the camera when he was a teenager. At first he wanted to become a cameraman , but after trial work he decided against this profession and for directing. His short film Tea Party Animals , made at the age of 15, only reinforced his wish. After graduating from Sandringham College, Jonathan M. Shiff Productions Pty. Ltd. , with whom he had previously worked on Ocean Girl and Thunderstone - The Return of the Animals , offered an internship in production and directing. After completing a 1 1/2 year internship there, he decided to ask for an internship on the television series Neighbors . He was also accepted there, and this internship ultimately led to his first official engagement as a director of Walker, who was then only 20 years old. Walker also appeared in the video for the single Something's Gotta Give by John Butler Trio on.

Walker is married to Brooke Harmon, whom he met while filming Wayne Wilson . The two have a son (* 2013).
