Julie Marie Berman (born November 3, 1983 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress .

Life

Berman was born in Los Angeles in 1983 as the only daughter of Peter and Reneé Berman . She has two brothers. She started acting at the age of 6. Mainly in commercials at the time , she has appeared in over 100 to date. She made her breakthrough in 1997 in the series A Heavenly Family , in which she played the supporting role of Shelby Connor for 2 years . She has also appeared in supporting roles in various other series such as Emergency Room and Boston Public . Since 2005, she also plays in General Hospital the role of Lesley Lu, Lulu 'Spencer. For this role she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category Outstanding Younger Actress in 2007.

In 2002, Berman graduated from Marymount High School in Los Angeles. Since then she has studied cinema and television at the University of Southern California (USC) and graduated there in 2006.
