Obba Babatundé

Obba Babatundé (born December 1, 1951 in New York ) is an American actor .

He is best known for his recurring role as Rector Green on the Dawson's Creek series. He was nominated for an Emmy in 1997 for his portrayal in the television film Miss Evers' Boys . He played guest roles a. a. in the series The Prince of Bel-Air , Chicago Hope and Friends . In the movie That Thing You Do! he was seen as the receptionist. He can also be seen in Ted Demme's tragic comedy " Lifelong " alongside Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence .
