Larisa Romanovna Oleynik (born June 7, 1981 in Santa Clara County , California ) is an American actress .

Life

Oleynik, who grew up in San Francisco , began performing in the theater at the age of eight . Her first role was that of Cosette in Les Misérables .

With her partner on stage, Rider Strong , she would meet again a few years later when she took a guest role in the television series Life and Me , in which Strong played one of the leading roles. However, she made her television debut in 1993 in an episode of Dr. Quinn - a passionate doctor .

Oleynik played her first leading role in What's up with Alex Mack? . The role of Alex Mack made her known in Europe. In 2011, she appeared in six episodes as a supporting actress on the Hawaii Five-0 series.
