Sandahl Bergman
Sandahl Bergman (born November 14, 1951 in Kansas City , Missouri , USA ) is an American film and theater actress .
biography
Sandahl Bergman, who has appeared in over 40 films, was best known for her roles alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger . In 1982 she was seen in Conan the Barbarian and in 1985 in Red Sonja together with him. Both had their first sex scene in front of the camera in Conan the Barbarian . Bergman did many of her own stunts and almost lost one of her fingers as a result.
For Conan, the Barbarian , she received both the Saturn Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Young Actress. However, she received a nomination for the Golden Raspberry in the category of worst supporting actress for her role in Red Sonja .
Apart from these two well-known feature films, Bergman worked mostly in B-movies . Her career in theater was not affected, however. A Chorus Line , Dancin and Chicago were musicals that featured Bergman on Broadway .
Sandahl Bergman was married to actor Josh Taylor. The couple, divorced today, have a daughter.
