Anne Archer
Anne Archer (* 25. August 1947 in Los Angeles ) is an American actress .
Life
Archer is a daughter of the actor John Archer (1915-1999) and the actress Marjorie Lord (1918-2015). She studied theater acting and has appeared in a few plays such as The Poison Tree .
She starred in The Bare Face (1984) alongside Roger Moore , in A Fateful Affair (1987) alongside Michael Douglas and Glenn Close , in the film Narrow Margin (1990) alongside Gene Hackman and in the film The Hour of the Patriots (1992) alongside Harrison Ford . For her role as Beth Gallagher in the film A Fateful Affair , she was nominated for an Oscar , Golden Globe and BAFTA Award .
She married William Davis in 1968; after the divorce, she married Terry Jastrow in 1979. She has two children.
Archer is a Scientologist ; her son Tommy Davis was Chief Press Officer of the Church of Scientology from 2007 to 2011 .
