The series follows the life of actor Dean Sanderson, Jr., who is returning to his hometown of Boise , Idaho after his previously long-running television series The Grinder was discontinued. Actually, he is not a lawyer at all, but he is of the opinion that his longstanding role as such qualifies him to work as such. Conveniently, his younger brother is a lawyer and he is immediately hired by his law firm.
