Natalie Morales (* 1985 ) is an American actress of Cuban origin. She became famous by starring in the sci-fi - comedy - television series The Middleman .

Life

Morales is an American of Cuban descent and grew up as an only child. During her school days, she got into acting through an acting class at her school. She began her career with roles in various plays and student films.

In 2006 she got a small role in the movie Miami Vice and that same year played her first television role in the crime series CSI: Miami . Also in 2006 appeared with Pimp my Ride - The game, a video game for the MTV series Pimp My Ride , in which Morales participated. End of 2007, it produced together with Dane Hanson a pilot for a low-budget comedy series called quitters , including her in The Middleman- co-star Brit Morgan starred. It was published online and appeared at the 2008 Independent Television Festival in Los Angeles .

In 2008 she got her first leading role in the weird science fiction comedy agent series The Middleman on the American cable broadcaster ABC Family . There she played the role of Wendy Watson, a young artist who becomes an agent and alien hunter.

After being canceled after a season, The Middleman took on a lead role in the first season of the crime series White Collar in 2009 , after initially being booked as a guest star for only two episodes. After the first season finale, Morales was released from her contract as her character was replaced by another. In March 2010, she received a new role in several episodes of the NBC series Parks and Recreation .

After 2009, a small role in Oliver Stone's film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was, she took over in 2010 a role in the comedy Mad About You ( Going the Distance ). After Morales for NBC sitcom Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea was cast and could already be seen in the first trailers, but lost the role in a major change of line-up before the broadcast began. In 2012, Morales made guest appearances on two episodes of Aaron Sorkin's series The Newsroom and series 90210 .
