Crazy About You is a 2010 American romantic comedy directed by Nanette Burstein . The film deals with the meeting of young lovers in New York and their six-week time there as well as their spatial separation afterwards combined with the resulting problems, which repeatedly lead to amusing incidents.
action
Through a harmless summer flirt, Erin and Garrett get to know each other in New York and begin a rather casual relationship. However, since Erin moves back to San Francisco from New York after her six-week internship at a newspaper and Garrett cannot leave the city because of his job at a record company, the two decide to have a long-distance relationship. However, it turns out that a long distance relationship, as several of their friends tell them, is not that easy to maintain. But not only that not togetherness gnaws at the relationship, friends and relatives of the two would rather see it if they ended the relationship.
The two visit each other on the west and east coast of the United States. During the time spent together, their relationship flourishes, everyone is alone, they are put to the test. Erin fails to get a job with a New York newspaper. Instead, she is offered a job on the west coast. Then their relationship seems to have ended.
After a while, Erin received tickets for a concert by The Boxer Rebellion , which Erin had already attended with Garrett. When the band goes to a concert again, Erin meets Garrett. He reveals to her that he is no longer employed by the New York record label, but is now the manager of the band The Boxer Rebellion . He moved to Los Angeles for his new job , which is why he now lives just an hour's flight from Erin.
Because of these changed conditions of their relationship, the relationship between the two blossoms again.

Reviews
With the “happy romance about distance relationships” , the documentary filmmaker Nanette Burstein celebrated a feature film debut with a “basically simple story”, according to the editorial staff of Cinema . From this she creates "a happy chaos of love" . "The humor is sometimes cheeky, sometimes dry, the stereotypical Hollywood love gulp is poked fun at times with relish," the editorial team continues. Although Drew Barrymore is "perhaps a bit too old for the requirements of the role" , "the chemistry between the two" main actors is "right" . Crazy about you is “a film in a contagiously good mood” and therefore a “light-hearted but original comedy with» Top Gun «swipes” . The editors awarded the second best of five possible ratings.
