Kelli Garner (* 11. April 1984 in Bakersfield , California as Kelli Brianne Garner ) is an American actress .

Act

She began her career in the short film Architecture of Reassurance by Mike Mills . In it, she caught the eye of director Larry Clark , who used her as a drug addict teen in his award-winning film Bully - These Kids Shocked America . She had a smaller role in a bigger film as Faith Domergue in Martin Scorsese's film Aviator .

Mike Mills let her expand her roles in the comedy Thumbsucker . For the role of Rebecca Scarlett Johansson was originally intended, with whom she has a very similar career plan in common. In The Lord of the House by Stephen Herek , she continued this line in the role of Barb . Another change of subject took place in 2007 in the award-winning film Dreamland by Jason Matzner in the role of Calista . In the television two-parter The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe , she embodied the title role.

Her penchant for quality independent films also brought her to off-Broadway in the play Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead by Bert V. Royal.
