Brit Morgan
Brit Morgan (* 24. September 1987 in Marlton , New Jersey as Brittany Morgan Dengler ) is an American actress .
Life
Morgan was born in Marlton , New Jersey . Her stage name is made up of her first names Brittany and Morgan. During her high school years she took theater classes at her school, and when she was 18 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. She had her first small roles in the ABC Family series Greek and the crime series CSI: NY . She also got the lead role in Sony's web series Buried Alive , which was later released on DVD.
In 2008 she worked with William H. Macy in the pilot of the (discontinued) TNT series Family Man and played her first film role in the comedy film Beer for My Horses . She had her breakthrough in the same year in the science fiction comedy series The Middleman , in which she played Lacey Thornfield, the roommate of the main character Wendy Watson ( Natalie Morales ). She also played in the web series Quitters , which was co-produced by her Middleman colleague Natalie Morales.
After the series ended, she starred in an episode of the series Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten and directed the movie comedy Freeloaders , which premiered in 2010.
From 2010 to 2011 she played the role of Debbie Pelt, the addict, mentally unstable friend of the werewolf Alcide, in the third and fourth seasons of the successful vampire series True Blood . Her role in True Blood was followed by guest appearances in series such as Shameless , Southland , Desperate Housewives and Two and a Half Men, as well as a role in the comedy She Wants Me .
