Jeffrey E. "Jeff" Cardoni (born January 1970 ) is an American composer , songwriter and former musician of the rock band "Alien Crime Syndicate" .

Life

According to his own statement, it was the Star Wars composition by John Willams that inspired Jeffrey E. Cardoni to start learning an instrument at the age of 7. However, for the sake of his parents, Cardoni did not focus on music, but instead studied engineering at Pennsylvania State University from 1988 to 1991 after graduating from Coughlin High School . But after studying piano, drums and guitar for 10 years, he tried to gain a foothold in the music industry, so he moved to Los Angeles in 1997 because of an engagement with the Warner Bros. band "Alien Crime Syndicate" . However, the guest appearance as lead guitarist lasted for a short time, because Cardoni was able to start in the field of film composition through contacts of a band member, which is why he has already worked for composers such as John Murphy and Christopher Tyng in addition to his studies at UCLA .

From the new millennium onwards, Cardoni regularly composed for films such as Wild X-Mas , American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile and Miss March . He was also hired as a songwriter for individual projects. He wrote songs for films like Die Chaos-Clique auf Klassenfahrt , The Rocker - Voll der (S) Hit and Eurotrip . Cardoni also wrote individual songs for various series and composed for Entourage , The Defenders and, since 2002, for the multi-award-winning crime series CSI: Miami .
