Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates is an American comedy film from the year 2016 . It stars Zac Efron , Adam DeVine , Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza .

Brothers Mike and Dave are avid partiers. In the past, however, the pair have more often ruined family gatherings through their boisterous and reckless behavior. So that they don't ruin their sister's planned wedding party too, Mike and Dave are asked by their parents to come to this wedding with a steady partner. Mike and Dave refuse at first, fearing that they will not have fun at the party, but then consent for the sake of their sister Jeanie.
In order to have as wide a choice as possible, the two put an advertisement on an online classifieds market that they are each looking for a partner for their sister's wedding party. The response to it is huge. However, it can not convince.
Alice and Tatiana work as a waitress in a bar, but are fired for repeatedly coming to work drunk. When they hear about Mike and Dave's ad, they arrange a meeting with Mike and Dave and pretend to be good girls. Tatiana presents herself as a teacher and Alice as a hedge fund manager. Finally, Mike and Dave ask the two of them if they would like to accompany them to their sister's wedding party in Hawaii.
At the family reunion before the wedding, Mike and Dave's family is delighted with Tatiana and Alice. Tatiana and Alice convince the family to take a quad tour of the Jurassic Park filming locations. Tatiana and Alice make daring jumps over a mound with the quad. Mike can be persuaded by the two to jump too. But he injures his sister Jeanie. Mike and Dave are starting to get the impression that Tatiana and Alice are even crazier than they are. When Tatiana is coerced in the sauna by cousin Terry to get backstage tickets for Rihanna, to satisfy her and Alice persuades the hotel masseur to give Jeanie an erotic massage with a happy ending, the situation escalates.
Tatiana makes a promise to Mike so that he finds out that the meeting was arranged and that Tatiana is not a teacher at all. Dave and Alice get along better and better. Mike tells Dave that Tatiana and Alice are liars, but Dave doesn't care. At the rehearsal dinner for the upcoming wedding there is an argument between Dave and Mike and a subsequent fight.
Alice and Jeanie take ecstasy together. In a drug intoxication, Jeanie begins to doubt her planned wedding with Eric because she thinks Eric is boring. After a discussion with Eric, the wedding is canceled. Alice and Tatiana realize that they have offended other people with their behavior and the two decide to be more considerate of other people. Mike and Dave make up again and realize that they have destroyed their sister's wedding. Mike and Dave as well as Tatiana and Alice turn up at Jeanie and Eric's to convince them to get married. Jeanie finally realizes that Eric is not boring after all and the two want to get married.
Because the wedding had already been canceled, Alice, Tatiana, Mike and Dave organize a new celebration. The four manage it too, and Jeanie and Eric get married.
