Aubrey Christina Plaza (born June 26, 1984 in Wilmington , Delaware ) is an American comedian , actress and film producer .

Life

Aubrey Plaza is of Puerto Rican and Irish - British descent. She attended the private girls school Ursuline Academy in Delaware , which she graduated in 2002. She then studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University until 2006 . With the Upright Citizens Brigade , Plaza performed as an impro and stand-up comedian.

From 2009 to 2015, Plaza was part of the cast of Amy Poehler in the NBC series Parks and Recreation .
