When Lord Holmes visits the Ryans at their property in Maryland to honor Ryan for his rescue, the terrorists who fled Libya in time raid the meeting with the help of a traitor, an assistant to Lord Holmes who had also helped with the attack on Lord Holmes. Ryan and his friend, Lieutenant Commander Robby Jackson, who is also present, can discover the impending attack in time, rescue everyone present and kill the terrorists; the traitor is killed by the terrorists.

Reviews

“Undisturbed agent thriller that praises the inhuman power politics of the CIA and the patriotism of the American citizen. Elaborately and very densely staged in the grand finale, the film wins only a few oppressive moments from the incidentally addressed topic of modern warfare via satellite and computer. "

“Phillip Noyce (' Salt ') skillfully builds up the tension, saves on patriotism and lets Ford shine in his typical role. Conclusion: calculated thrill, good finale. "
