Polly Walker
Polly Walker (born May 19, 1966 in Warrington , Cheshire , England ) is a British television and film actress .
Life
She actually began her career as a dancer, but an injury at the age of eighteen forced her to change jobs.
Her first major role in a movie she had in 1992 as a terrorist in the film The Hour of the Patriots on the side of Harrison Ford and Sean Bean . In the course of her career, she has stood in front of the camera alongside actors such as Sharon Stone , Anthony Hopkins , Gwyneth Paltrow and Maggie Smith .
From 2005 to 2007 she was seen in the role of Atia in the television series Rome . For this role she was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Satellite Award . In 2006 Polly Walker shot the movie Scenes of a Sexual Nature on the side of Ewan McGregor , which was released that same year.
Walker married the former actor Laurence Penry-Jones (brother of Rupert Penry-Jones ) in 2008 and lived with him in the United States for almost eight years. In 2015 the couple returned to London. Walker has a son (* 1993) and a daughter (* 2000) from previous relationships.
