criticism
“Pictures and picture rhythms, concise colors, physically present types and surface effects, dialogues, noises and music. Kaufman associates this alone with enlightening criticism and fairytale homage; he combines the parodic with the mythical, the epic with the anecdotal; it even combines moments of the attraction assembly with passages of a more elegiac cut. "
"A film marked by both mocking irony and sincere admiration for these 'heroes of the nation', which thanks to the thrilling depiction of the extreme flights remains exciting until the end."
