Mary Jo Deschanel (* 1945 in Los Angeles , California as Mary Josephine Weir ) is an American actress .

life and career

Mary Jo Deschanel was born Mary Josephine Weir in Los Angeles . She had her first appearance in a film in 1983 in The Stuff the Heroes Are Made of , in which her husband, Caleb Deschanel , was a cameraman. She had her next film role in 1984 as Betty Fernandez in the film 2010: The Year We Make Contact . In 1989 she appeared in an episode of the television series Incredible Stories, developed based on an idea by Steven Spielberg . Between 1990 and 1991 she was in a total of eleven episodes of the series Twin Peaks as Eileen Hayward and in the following filmto see.
