Theodore Scott Glenn (born January 26, 1941 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor .

Life

Glenn graduated from William and Mary College and served three years in the US Marines . For several months he worked as a reporter for the Kenosha Daily Tribune newspaper . In 1966 he moved to New York and played at La MaMa Experimental Theater , and since 1968 at The Actors Studio .

Glenn made his film acting debut in 1970 in the movie $ 100 More When It's a Boy . He moved to Los Angeles and later played in a Seattle theater .

Glenn starred in The Hunt for Red October (1990) opposite Sean Connery and Alec Baldwin , in The Silence of the Lambs (1991) opposite Jodie Foster and in the movie Absolute Power (1997) opposite Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman .

Glenn has been married to Carol Schwartz since 1967 and has two children.
