Glenn Farr
Glenn Farr is an American film editor who received an Academy Award for Best Editing at the 1984 Academy Awards .
life and work
Farr trained at UCLA in 1968-69 and began his career as an editor in Hollywood in 1971 on the documentary Mad Dogs & Englishmen . Since then he has been responsible for editing more than forty films and television series .
In 1984 he won an Oscar for best editing with Lisa Fruchtman , Stephen A. Rotter , Douglas Stewart and Tom Rolf with the film The Stuff The Heroes Are Made Of (1983) by Philip Kaufman , with Sam Shepard , Scott Glenn and Ed Harris in the lead roles .
In addition, he, Lisa Fruchtman, Stephen A. Rotter and Tom Rolf were nominated for the editing of this film for an Eddie , the award of the American Cinema Editors (ACE).
