James Luceno

James Luceno (* 1947 ) is an American author. He has published eleven novels in the Star Wars universe so far . In addition, he published the e-book Darth Maul: Saboteur .

Luceno is also the author of the Web Warrior series and co-author of the US popular Robotech series, which he wrote with his friend Brian Daley under the pseudonym Jack McKinney . Daley and Luceno also wrote the scripts for the Galaxy Rangers cartoon series together in 1986 . James Luceno also wrote the novel adaptations for the films The Mask of Zorro , The Shadow and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull . Luceno's 2014 Star Wars novel Tarkin was one of the first four novels to be published within the franchise after Lucasfilm redefined continuity in April 2014. In 2015 the title was also published as a paperback.

He lives in Annapolis, Maryland with his wife and children.
