Jennifer Coolidge (born August 28, 1961 in Boston ) is an American actress .

Life

Coolidge was born the daughter of Gretchen Knauff and Paul Constant Coolidge, a plastics manufacturer. She grew up in Norwell, Massachusetts and has a brother and two sisters. She graduated from Norwell High School and graduated from Emerson College in Boston. She also attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City . She made her first experiences in comedy as a member of the Groundlings Main Company in Los Angeles . Coolidge became internationally known for her portrayals of Stifler's Mom , the stereotypical MILF , in the American Pie film series and as Paulette in Naturally Blonde and Naturally Blonde 2 . From 2011 to 2017 she played the role of Sophie Kachinsky, a Polish neighbor of the two main actresses, in 2 Broke Girls .

Commitment to animals and the environment

Jennifer Coolidge is regularly committed to animal and environmental protection . So she made the MC together with comedian Chris Kattan at the 30th anniversary of the marine conservation organization Sea Shepherd . She also supports the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (American Association for the prevention of cruelty to animals) and the Sanctuary Farm Sanctuary.
