Christopher Lee "Chris" Kattan (born October 19, 1970 in Sherman Oaks , California ) is an American actor and comedian , known from the television show Saturday Night Live , in which he appeared from 1996 to 2003.

Life

Kattan starred in the 1998 comedy film A Night at the Roxbury , as well as in the 2001 fantasy comedy Monkeybone . Other films he has worked on include Haunted Hill (1999), Mister Undercover (2001), Undercover Brother (2002), Santa's Slay (2005), Adam & Steve (2005), Chaos under the Christmas tree (2007) and Nancy Drew - Girl Detective (2007). Since 2009 he has played a supporting role in the comedy series The Middle . In the same year he played himself in the miniseries Bollywood Herohimself. The series dealt with the problems Kattan faced after his career as a comedy actor and his attempts to get a lead role in a Bollywood film. At the end of the fifth season of the American television series How I Met Your Mother , he was seen as Jed Mosley , a parody of the main character Ted Mosby ( Josh Radnor ) in the fictional film The Wedding Bride .

His father is the actor Kip King .
