Samuel Finzi
Samuel Finzi (Самуел Финци, born January 20, 1966 in Plovdiv , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian- German actor who works for both theater and film .
Life
Samuel Finzi is the son of the Bulgarian actor Itzhak Finzi and the pianist Gina Tabakova . He came to Berlin via France in December 1989 at the request of the director Ivan Stanev. He worked at the theaters in Düsseldorf , Cologne , Bochum and Zurich , at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, at the Schauspiel Frankfurt , at the Burgtheater in Vienna and at the Deutsches Theater Berlin .
He played in a total of 20 productions by the theater director Dimiter Gotscheff . Finzi and Gotscheff worked together from 1992 until Gotscheff's death in 2013.
Between 2002 and 2008 he had a permanent engagement at the Volksbühne Berlin , where he was in Königsberg by Andrei Nekrasow, Battle of the Negro and the Dogs by Bernard-Marie Koltès , Greed for gold after Frank Norris in an arrangement by Frank Castorf , Gamer after Dostojewskis The player , Philoctetes by Heiner Müller , Iwanow von Chekhov and Das große Fressen after Marco Ferreri , Rafael Azcona and Francis Blanche, The Suicide by Nikolaj Erdman and Ubukönig after Alfred Jarry's King Ubu participated. Since 2005 Finzi has been playing forensic doctor Dr. Stormann in the Kiel episodes of the Tatort television series about investigator Klaus Borowski .
In November 2009 the crime series Flemming started with Samuel Finzi in the role of the psychologist and investigator Vincent Flemming and Claudia Michelsen as his partner and ex-wife Ann Gittel. After a break, new episodes were broadcast in 2011 and 2012.
In autumn 2010 it appeared in the third commercial and the corresponding advertisements in a campaign entitled “Opaque” for the Ergo insurance group . The spots were shot by Simon Verhoeven in Berlin.
In the months of October and November 2011, Samuel Finzi was to be seen as an “expert for everything” in Finzi declares the world in the show of failure (also: failure for the clever) on ZDF.
Finzi lives in Berlin-Charlottenburg.
