action

Nils, Andreas and Thomas graduated from high school together 30 years ago . Now the three late forties are invited to a class reunion . The three are in different life situations.

For example, the family man Nils is in a midlife crisis , his son Oliver finds him embarrassing and his pubescent daughter only has eyes for her boyfriend Lenny. Nils also suffers from hemorrhoids and presbyopia , and his wife Jette can no longer bear his whining. He has little interest in a class reunion, as it only shows him more clearly that he has grown old.

Even his classmate Andreas, who has just separated from his childhood sweetheart Tanja, has absolutely no desire to meet. His ex ran away with the couples therapist Karsten, who was twenty years his junior, and Andreas suffered from the separation.

Only Thomas is looking forward to the celebration. He is a successful DJ , was previously a womanizer and has already forged flirt plans for the party weekend. But then his dream wife Linda gets in the way, with whom he wants to have a serious and monogamous love relationship. She presses her daughter Lilli on his eye. The rebellious seventeen year old takes every opportunity to hold up a mirror to the older generation.

Although the class reunion developed chaotically at times, Nils, Andreas and Thomas move closer and closer together and slowly come to the conclusion that family, friendship and love are the most important things in life and that their age is just right.

The film service complains that “taboo-breaking […] schoolboy humor and malicious joy [give way] without any irony” and notes that “the actors […] do well, […] but they dragged you off against the number-revue-like dramaturgy Timing and the inclination of the staging to the suggestive mostly [pull] the short straw.
