Martin Todsharow

Martin Todsharow (* 6. September 1967 in East Berlin ) is a German film music - composer , musician and producer .

In addition to working for international films, Todsharow is also responsible for the music for documentaries, commercials and television productions.

Career

Todsharow studied from 1989 to 1994 at the "Hanns Eisler" University of Music in Berlin with a focus on piano and counterpoint / composition. From 1991 he was already writing music for theater, and in 1993 he received a DAAD scholarship in Great Britain. From 1994 to 1996 he worked as a musician in the field of serious and popular music.

Since 1997 he has been working as a film music composer. He also teaches as a guest lecturer at the Ludwigsburg Film Academy and at the DFFB in Berlin.

Martin Todsharow sees Jerry Goldsmith as one of his role models (especially his score for Alien ).
