In the Middle Ages , the half-silk businessman Count Luipold Trumpf woos the financially troubled King Gunther for his daughter Princess Herzelinde. Herzelinde refuses, and Trumpf has her kidnapped by the Black Knight because of that. So the honorable knight Lance, the bodyguard of the princess, and the Turkish crook Erdal, the "half" knight, set out to free Princess Herzelinde from his clutches. But that's not enough that their search is constantly disturbed by annoying travel acquaintances - Lanze and Erdal also fall victim to an insidious intrigue by the royal family. Erdal invents the kebab on the way . Roberto Blanco makes a guest appearance as a beverage supplier for the Black Knight's hippie commune. In the end, with the help of his friend Erdal, the dumb gate Lanze becomes a sensitive woman who is able to marry his beloved Herzelinde.
