Julia Anna Dietze (born January 9, 1981 in Marseille ) is a German actress .

Life

Julia Dietze is the daughter of the German artist, illustrator and painter Mathias Dietze. Her mother is from Marseille. Dietze grew up with her two younger sisters in Munich and currently lives in Berlin-Kreuzberg .

She gained her first cinema experiences with the films Solo Album by Gregor Schnitzler , Fickende Fisch by Almut Getto and What is the use of love in thoughts by Achim von Borries , as well as with some television films such as Ghetto Kids , Echte Men? and the voices . She played her first leading role in television in Mädchen Nr. 1 , directed by Stefan Holtz .

During her one-year stage dancer training at the Iwanson School and her subsequent acting training at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding , she stood in front of the camera for various HFF short films . In 2003/2004 she shot the movies Erkan & Stefan in Der Tod geht krass and Oktoberfest and stood in front of the camera for The Secret Life of Gamblers' Wives in the role of Désiré Fischer.

In 2008 she played a supporting role in the film Run for Your Life - From Junkie to Ironman by Adnan G. Köse . She plays the role of the heroin addict Pia, who tragically dies. In Robert Zimmermann wonders about love , she plays the role of ex-girlfriend Lorna under the direction of Leander Haußmann . In Miriam Dehne's drama Little Paris , she embodies the breakdancer Silver, who earns her money as a stripper . She was also in the female lead in the film 1½ Knights - In Search of the Adorable Herzelinde , directed by Til Schweiger . In addition, she plays the saleswoman in the McDonald’s commercial Ein Euro as well as in the commercial for Gröbi and has a role in the music video Amos - Bla Bla .

In 2012 Dietze starred in the science fiction comedy Iron Sky by Finnish independent director Timo Vuorensola . In it she plays a Nazi officer who returns to earth from a secret base on the moon. From March 2018 she was in the 11th season of the RTL show Let's Dance . In the semi-finals, she had to be eliminated by audience vote.
