Erwin Keusch

Erwin Keusch (born July 22, 1946 in Zurich ) is a Swiss television director and screenwriter .

Life

From 1965 to 1968 he studied German, psychology and history at the University of Zurich and then theater history and German in Munich . As an autodidact , he began making films, and later turned on behalf of television companies.

He received a lot of praise for his first film Das Brot des Bäckers (1976), for which he had also written the screenplay and for which he was awarded the silver film tape in 1977 and the Ernst Lubitsch Prize in 1978 .

His film Der Flieger was nominated in 1987 for the German Film Prize as best feature film and in the same year received the Gilde Film Prize in silver for best national film.

Keusch has directed numerous television films and episodes for television series, including Tatort , Die Kommissarin , Polizeiruf 110 , Doppelter Einsatz and Bella Block .

He is a member of the German Film Academy .
