Jury court (further title: Der Mordsfilm ) is a crime film series produced by Sat.1 between 1995 and 1997 . The series describes criminal cases from the point of view of prosecutors.

action

The series takes place in different locations and with different protagonists. The prosecutors Katharina Dorn, Hunziger, Adalbert von Meck, Anne Schickedanz, Johanna Hohenberg and Dorothee Rathenau are investigating. They solve difficult criminal cases in their own way, seek justice and new challenges. Fraud, marriage fraud, abuse, murder trials or other violent crimes are tried in court.

The series was designed to compete with ARD - Tatort and initially ran at prime time on Sundays at 8:15 p.m. However, the ratings remained below expectations. In 1997 the series was finally discontinued. Completed episodes were later broadcast under the title The Murder Film or without a series title.
