Hans Peter Hallwachs
Hans Peter Hallwachs (born July 10, 1938 in Jüterbog ) is a German actor , dubbing and radio play speaker .
Life
Hans Peter Hallwachs, son of a veterinarian, attended the drama school "Der Kreis" (Fritz Kirchhoff School) in Berlin from 1959 to 1961 . He made his stage debut as Father in Max Frisch's Andorra . This was followed by engagements in theaters at Goetheplatz in Bremen, Stuttgart, at the Münchner Kammerspiele , at the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel , at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, at the Salzburg Festival and at the Schauspielhaus Graz .
Since the late 1960s, he has also made a name for himself as a distinguished character actor in film and television. Hallwax played u. a. in Volker Schlöndorff's drama Murder and Manslaughter (with the Rolling Stones muse Anita Pallenberg ), in The Stuff Dreams Are Made of (based on Johannes Mario Simmel ), in the Erich Kästner film adaptation Fabian (in the title role), in Hans -Christoph Blumenberg's drama The Summer of the Samurai , in the east-west drama Vaterland (with Gerulf Pannach ), in Bernhard Sinkel's multi-part Hemingway (with Stacy Keach in the title role), in Margarethe von Trotta's war drama Rosenstrasse , in Peter Schamoni's portrait Caspar David Friedrich - The limits of time , and in comedies like Didi in full swing , Otto - Der Ausserfriesische and (T) Raumschiff Surprise - Period 1 .
He also made numerous guest appearances in television series and series such as Derrick , Tatort , Der große Bellheim , Medicopter 117 - Every Life Counts , Wolffs Revier , Edel & Starck and Der Alte . He played recurring roles ( Matern, Ikarus, Dr. Hannes Haas ) in the crime series Der Bulle von Tölz , Der Mann ohne Schatten and Mord mit Aussicht .
In addition, Hallwachs was involved in numerous radio play productions. In 1973 he played one of the two main roles in the world's first 3D artificial headphone game, Demolition . Other radio play roles were the private detective John Dalmas in the Raymond Chandler radio plays Bay City Blues ( SWF 1986) and Die Tote im See (SWF 1983), Kaiser Augustus in Jostein Gaarder's Christmas Secret ( MDR / WDR 1999), the unscrupulous businessman Tørk Hviid in Fräulein Smilla's Sensation for Snow ( NDR 1995;), one of the narrators in Walter Adler's lavishly staged adaptation of Tad Williams ' Otherland ( HR 2004 to 2005), Sartorius in Stanisław Lems Solaris (MDR 2006) and Aragorn in Bernd Lau's radio play adaptation Der Herr the rings (1991). Hallwachs also dubbed Alan Rickman ( Quigley, the Australian ) and Paul Shenar ( Scarface ) and read the German audio book version of Paul Auster's Moon Palace ( Moon over Manhattan , 2001).
At the Jagsthausen Castle Festival in 1991 he played the role of Götz von Berlichingen in Goethe 's drama of the same name. At the Schauspielhaus Graz , Hallwachs took on the role of Albert Einstein in the world premiere of Geister in Princeton , a play by Daniel Kehlmann . At the Salzburg Festival he has been playing in 2013 in the new production of Hugo von Hofmannsthal's Everyman "faith".
