action

Franka Lauth is the art director of a successful Berlin advertising agency. She is good at her job and can afford a luxurious life. In addition to an expensive penthouse apartment, she also owns a chic convertible. But one day, when she is about to present a spectacular campaign, her documents are stolen by her worst competitor, Markus Spreng. Since her boss Roland Kunze doesn't believe her, Franka resigns furiously. But as much as she was spoiled for success, it is now so hard to find a new job. Since she is not spared going to the employment office, she takes a job as a kitchen helper in a catering company. At least she can use it to pay the installments.

However, Franka is lucky again. She falls in love with her boss Jakob, who is an incredibly talented cook. But since he has no idea how to present his delicacies, Franka uses all her talent to come up with a few marketing ideas. Since the company is doing badly, he cannot implement it. Rather, he has to save money and fire them. So Franka set up her own catering company with Jakobs ex-employee Deria, which is an incredible success and an insider tip. Meanwhile, Jakob is getting worse and worse. Since Franka soon receives a large order with a gala dinner that she cannot handle on her own, she asks Jakob for help. They split up in an argument and suddenly the old feelings are back.

Reviews

"Romantic comedy about a rather complicated role reversal, in the course of which nature triumphs over the supposed gender role."

"Comedy specialist Matthias Tiefenbacher [...] staged this predictable fun based on the book by Uli Brée [...], which lives particularly from the play of the award-winning comedian Diana Amft, who here has to deal with Steffen Wink."

“The comedy is not unsympathetic, has a few cute verbal battles, but is very predictable. [...] Just an amuse gueule, no main course "
