Ulrich Stark

Ulrich Stark (born September 15, 1943 in Bremen ) is a German director and screenwriter . His main works are television thrillers.

Life

Ulrich Stark first studied theater studies and German language and literature in Cologne and switched to the University of Television and Film Munich . Right at the start of his career, he was allowed to direct the originally regional series Sketchup . In the period that followed, he developed into a specialist in full-length crime series, often with a comedic twist, such as SOKO 5113 , Faust or Tatort , for which he initially wrote the screenplay. For the episode 1A Landeier from the series Polizeiruf 110 , authors and leading actors received the Adolf Grimme Prize .
