Serge Falck (actually Serge Dierickx , born April 19, 1961 in Schoten near Antwerp ) is a Belgian - Austrian actor , cabaret artist , chansonnier and screenwriter .

Life

Falck was born on April 19, 1961 in Schoten near Antwerp and attended the Jesuit college in Antwerp and Turnhout (boarding school). At the age of 19 he moved to Austria to live with his aunt. He graduated from drama school at the Innsbruck State Theater . Engagements took him to the Theater in der Josefstadt , Volkstheater Vienna , Volkstheater Munich , Volksoper Vienna , Schauspielhaus Frankfurt .

He became known to a broad television audience through the series Medicopter 117 and Kaisermühlen-Blues . He also appeared in several films directed by u. a. Karin Brandauer , Wolfgang Murnberger , Unmut Dag, Barbara Eder, Dominique Othenin-Girard , Jean-Daniel Verhaeghe , Paul Harather , Bernd Fischerauer , Erhard Riedlsperger, Michael Rowitz and Harald Sicherheitsitz .

Because of his Belgian origins, he speaks four languages ​​(Dutch, French, English and German). That is why he has worked in several international productions, for example in his former home in Belgium in 2008 in the production De Smaak van de Keyser , directed by Frank van Passel and Jan Mathys. Serge Falck has had dual citizenship for Austria and Belgium since August 2009.

In 2008, Serge Falck took part in the first season of the ORF soccer show Das Match . From 2009 to 2012 he was on tour with Sigrid Spörk each December with their own Christmas cabaret program. This year we don’t give each other anything! .

In the last few years, Serge Falck has increasingly appeared in episode roles a. a. in Tatort , Die Rosenheim-Cops , Soko Wien , Schnell determined and Four women and one death . Since 2013 he has played one of the leading roles in the ORF crime series CopStories .

In October 2017 his first solo program "Am Beckenrand" premiered and released his first CD under the same title.

His brother, Arno Dierickx , is a film director in Holland (including Bloedbroeders , Deadline , Vuurzee , Overspel ). His father, Ludo Dierickx , was a well-known Belgian politician. His mother, Eva Maria, (originally Austrian, but especially well known in Belgium and Holland) was a successful singer in Belgium.

Awards

Together with Paul Harather he received in 1996 for the film Ouch !!! the Golden Romy for the best script.
