Jean-Daniel Verhaeghe

Jean-Daniel Verhaeghe (born June 26, 1944 ) is a French film director and screenwriter . He was best known for the filming of literary adaptations such as Eugénie Grandet , The Foundling or Red and Black . In 2006 his film adaptation of Le Grand Meaulnes by Alain-Fournier appeared with the French young actors Nicolas Duvauchelle , Clémence Poésy and Jean-Baptiste Maunier in the leading roles.
