Early years

There she went to an alternative school at the request of her parents, at which she did not feel comfortable and got along badly with her peers. When she was 13, she took part in an exchange program with Canada, which she said had a major impact on her life, and then switched to a bilingual school. At the age of 16 Poésy finished her school career and studied drama at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique , the most famous drama school in France. Her younger sister Maëlle Poésy-Guichard is also an actress.

In 2009 she starred alongside Jim Sturgess in the British drama Heartless . In 2010 she repeated the role of Fleur Delacour in the two-part film adaptation of the seventh and final Harry Potter novel Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . She was also seen in the fourth season of the US series Gossip Girl in four episodes in a guest role. She played Chuck Bass' ( Ed Westwick ) girlfriend Eva Coupeau . In the same year she starred in the drama 127 Hours , directed by Danny Boyle . The film tells the true story of mountaineer Aron Ralston , played by James Franco , while Poésy plays his girlfriend Rana .
