The paramedics Freddy Kowalski and Emile Ramzy as drivers are always pushing their ambulance through Hamburg to the limit - as was the case when they met the wife of the Attorney General Dr. Driving Paul Montgomery to the hospital for the delivery with flashing lights. Mario Brenner, the attorney general's bodyguard, oversees the transport.
In Genoa , a deal between the gun dealers Otto Schlesinger and Gino Pozzo and their Congolese customer Franco Toko fails at the same time . Franco Toko is exposed as an undercover agent and shot; Otto Schlesinger's partner Lola König leaves for Germany with a bag full of Congo francs .
Lola König meets the Attorney General Dr. Paul Montgomery in a bar and gives him the key to the locker where she has hidden the money. Immediately after the meeting, the attorney general and his driver are gunned down by a nephew of Gino Pozzo's. The driver dies instantly.
Freddy and Emile are first at the scene and transport the attorney general to the hospital. The dying man gives the paramedics a locker key.
