Alexander Wipprecht

Alexander Wipprecht (born August 12, 1976 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actor and presenter .

Life

Alexander Wipprecht completed his acting training from 1997 to 2001 at the drama school " Theater Der Keller " in Cologne .

Since 2000 he has had guest engagements at various theaters in Germany, including the Schauspielhaus Hamburg , the Hamburger Kammerspiele , the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg , the Schauspielhaus Cologne and the Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss . At the theater he worked with directors such as Pia Gehle (Hamburg / Cologne), Sabine Karasch (Ernst-Deutsch-Theater), Sylvia Richter (Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss), Hansjörg Utzerath (Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss), Sewan Latchinian , Johannes Kaetzler and Rüdiger Burbach ( Ernst Deutsch Theater).

In 2004 he appeared at the Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss in Seán O'Casey's play Purpurstaub . In the children's musical Ristorante Allgro of the music project Sternschnuppe by the artists Werner Meier and Margit Sarholz, he has played the Italian chef Renato Gelato since 2012. In 2014 he was on tour with Max Gertsch , Stefan Gossler and Stephan Schill with the “Midlife Crisis Revue” Mann o Mann by Tilmann von Blomberg and Bärbel Arenz. In the 2015/16 season he was a guest at the Comödie Dresden as “Der Lebenskünstler” in the comedy We are then for a short time away from Tilmann von Blomberg and Bärbel Arenz. In 2017 he played the father in the one-person play Jihad one-way by Bernd Plöger at Theater Hof .

Wipprecht had his first film roles immediately after his training. Since 2005 he has also regularly taken on various roles on television, where he also appeared in several comedy formats ( Anke , Mein Leben & Ich , jerks. ). From 2014 to 2016 he was part of the permanent cast of the comedy series The unlikely events in the life of ... z. B. Nora Tschirner , Carolin Kebekus or Hugo Egon Balder , where he was seen as a "hilarious" and "changeable" member of the ensemble in fictional scenes from the life of the celebrities. In the cinema he worked a. a. in films by Tom Tykwer and Katrin Gebbe , on television he shot under the direction of Thorsten Näter , Lars Becker , Bodo Schwarz , Thomas Jauch and Axel Barth .

Alexander Wipprecht played in numerous television series, including a. in Lindenstrasse (2001), SOKO Cologne (2006), Post Mortem (2007–2008, as Detective Inspector Christoph Täubrich), Countdown - The Hunt Begins (2012) and Einstein (2018). In May 2018 Wipprecht was seen in the ARD television series In all friendship - The young doctors in a leading role in the episode; he embodied the patient Paul Schneider, who wages a violent "war of the roses " with his wife ( Luise Helm ) . In the 2nd season of the ZDF crime series SOKO Hamburg (2019) he took on a leading role in the episode as Tom Dücker's popular German teacher. In the 9th season of the ARD family series Familie Dr. Kleist (2019) he took on an episode role as the father of a 15-year-old girl who lives separated from his wife.

At the end of 2016, he presented the new edition of the strip show Tutti Frutti together with Jörg Draeger on the special interest channel RTL Nitro . Since autumn 2018, Wipprecht has appeared regularly as a member of the ZDF news satire heute-show .

Wipprecht, who also works as a voice actor, lives in Hamburg.
