Max Gertsch (born December 2, 1963 in Bern ) is a Swiss actor .

Life

He was born in Bern . After graduating from high school and dropping out of German studies, he received his acting training at the Conservatory for Music and Theater in Bern (today Bern University of the Arts ). 1987 to 1991 member of the ensemble of the Freie Volksbühne Berlin under director Hans Neuenfels .

From 1991 to 1993, as Willy Pfister, he was part of the original formation of the Pfister siblings . For this, the 1992 Critics' Prize of the Berliner Zeitung and the Cabaret Prize of the Salzburg Bull in 1993 .

From 1992 Gertsch had various filming in Germany and Switzerland. He was part of the main cast of the series Die Flughafenklinik from 1995 to 1996. He had a recurring supporting role in the television series Girl Friends . From 1998 to 2000 he played a leading role in 33 episodes in the crime series In the Name of the Law . Since then, in addition to the theater, he has mainly played guest roles in television series and roles in television films.

Max Gertsch lives in Berlin and has been married to Silvia Rachor since 2004 .
