The Pfister siblings are a group of Swiss - German music cabaret artists .

history

The project was founded in the early 1990s by the actors Christoph Marti (who says of himself that he “messed around” at the Berlin Schiller Theater ), Tobias Bonn , Max Gertsch and Lilian Naef in Berlin . The original formation consisted of the four characters "Ursli", "Toni", "Lilo" and "Willi Pfister", the invented biography after four orphans from Zermatt . After Lilo (Lilian Naef) and Willi (Max Gertsch) left, “Fräulein Schneider” ( Andreja Schneider ) joined them and married Toni (Tobias Bonn), so that the troupe remained a stage family.

In real life, Christoph Marti and Tobias Bonn are partners ; Andreja Schneider was born in Croatia and has lived in Germany from an early age.

The singing trio is accompanied by the Jo Roloff Band ( Johannes Roloff (piano), Jürgen "Speedy" Schäfer (double bass), Immo Hofmann (drums) and Andreas David (guitars)). They always sing and play live.

reception

The Tagesspiegel wrote in 2006: “Over the past ten years they have made a name for themselves with shrill, weird, comically beautiful programs, and with an eclectic grip on the entertainmentbox ofthe last century they have used wherever they found what they were looking for: Revue fairy tales , Folk song, Hollywood -schmelz-lard, bossa-nova , vaudeville- romance, swing , yodelling , pop and much more were picked up and put in a new light with their own mixture of loving affection and shark-like malice. With their always well thought-out show concepts, they have created a niche that can nolonger be identifiedwith any genre , unless there is the label for intelligent and first-class entertainment: Las Vegas with Swiss charm! ”Silke Böttcher described the trio in 2007 in the Berliner Morgenpost as “Specialists in the controlled overdose of kitsch”. A critic of the Stuttgarter Zeitung wrote in 2008 that the humor was "amatter of luck"because only "a few jokes" would really ignite, but felt that the sophisticated choreographies "went far beyond the widespread comedy- jumping". Gunda Bartels took in 2009 in the Tagesspiegel , the then program as from "Star whispers and Society gossip " developed "over-excited parody " together.
